InterSky, an airline based out of the country of Austria makes major flights to cities around Switzerland, Germany, and Austria as well as seasonal flights to locations in the Mediterranean. The company was established by Renate Moser, Rolf Seewald, and various other shareholders in late 2001. Renate Moser was the first female CEO of an airline at the time. Since then, other female CEOs have come to lead airlines, such as Miyuki Suzuki at Jetstar Japan.
InterSky has grown since it started operations in March of 2002 to 110 employees. At the time of this writing, the company is headed by Claus Bernatzik. Still, the company is relatively small, with it's fleet of aircraft consisting of 4 Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 Turboprops, each capable of hauling 50 passengers with economy seating.
